We know all about your team - but do you know about ours? Jeff Ward is a partner at Stone Carlie and serves as your main contact. Jeff has been working with members of the PHPA since the 1980s and is a regular presenter at your Annual Meeting. Over the years, Jeff has trained a team of tax professionals that are available to assist you as well. To maintain a high level of service both in terms of timeliness and technical competence, Jeff created this team to provide added resources to the PHPA. Since the number of athletes that we serve continues to grow, it is imperative that we grow with you. Having several tax professionals at your disposal ensures that we are always available to serve you, both in terms of the players we serve currently, as well as those in the future! You should also know that our Professional Athlete Services Team meets regularly to address the complex issues you face. It is our way of preparing for our game - the efficient filing of your tax returns while employing the best-available tax strategies tailored to your situation!

Jeff is the main contact at Stone Carlie for Members of the Association and has been involved with preparing and reviewing professional athletes' income tax returns for fifteen years. Jeff has spoken at a many PHPA Annual Meetings on income tax planning and saving taxes. On a personal note, Jeff has coached youth hockey from mini-mites to high school hockey, and is currently participating in the Village of Families housing program for two athletes playing for the Springfield Jr. Blues hockey team.
